Museums on Jeju island in South Korea are like mushrooms, sprouting everywhere. Some are museums in name only, little more than crass tourist attractions. Others are worthwhile, but certainly bend the conception of what many think of in a museum, namely old, established works of art that have withstood the test of time. It would take weeks, if not months to visit all of them as they number more than 100. Here are impressions on a few:
