Scale your holiday up to epic proportions. In a resort with more than a 1,000 rooms, guests have access to more first-rate facilities than they know what to do with. Begin with free limited Wi-Fi in public places, a selection of retail outlets and an on-site beauty salon. Those are just the basics.
Guests can take their pick of a staggering 18 swimming pools, four of which are just for kids. Then there are the water parks – three built on an adult scale and a fourth that’s especially for younger guests. The parks are criss-crossed by 22 waterslides including eight for kids that’ll have you slipping, speeding and careening to your heart’s content.
And there’s the beach – pristine and private. Sprawl in a sun lounger or soak in one of two beach Whirlpools. The water sports centre can arrange windsurfing, scuba diving or deep-sea fishing. You can even a camel ride on the sand.
Relaxing is great, but some holidaymakers need a dose of action ever so often. That’s no problem at Jaz Aquamarine. The gym, the multi-purpose courts are good for basketball, football and a variety of other sports, in addition to a stand-alone Tennis court. You can play a game of beach volleyball or water polo on the sand or slow it down with a friendly game of boccia or darts.
Mivida, the in-house spa, has 19 treatment rooms, including couples rooms and a Turkish hammam. Children aged four to 12 can enrol in the resort’s Kids’ Club, giving Mum and Dad some time to enrol in a spa treatment, or to catch a show at the resort theatre or at the lobby terrace. Teenagers enjoy meeting up at the Station, a trendy age-appropriate hangout equipped with 17 PlayStation consoles. And for adults, the scene picks up afterhours at Fantasia Club Teatro discotheque.
