"The size of the room including the bathroom, both of which were quite large. Love getting biscuits alongside the tea and coffee making facilities as well as sachets of hot chocolate, particularly as I...""Beautiful location, nice and peaceful. Owners really friendly, had home made scones on arrival. Lots of places to visit near by. Cottage has everything, felt like a home from home. Will definitely return."A lovely historical town in Kent. Plenty of places to eat and drink. Friendly people -plenty to see and do. Markets a couple of times a week. Lots of nice walks i.e. The Creek, parks, church yards, town. Easy to get to Canterbury and Thanet towns and the hop and apple growing countryside!A very interesting and well maintained town. Lots of things to see. Friendly people in shops and bars. Only stayed one day visiting friends but definitely will return to the town. Easy access to London but close to the coast.Faversham is a quaint, old-fashioned, market town that is busily rejecting attempts of gentrification! Wonderful old buildings house a variety of mainly non-chain businesses. Though when we visited between Christmas and New Year, most were shut for the holidays. There is an odd mix of cheaper shops, and high-end designer and antiques. Lots of history to explore if that's your thing. Locals are generally very friendly.
