Ride down rugged roads in a fully loaded jeep as we seek out the beautiful cascading waterfalls of Serra da Bocaina. Our first stop is the Gold Trail Exposition where you will have a chance to learn a little bit about the history of the Gold trail. Then we will pass through Tobogã Falls and Tarzã Falls on our way to Engenho D’ouro, a cachaça distillery, where you will see how this popular Argentinean liquor is produced. You will have the chance to taste the many different varieties of cachaça.
After this, hop back in the jeep for a short ride to a great local restaurant, Villa Verde, where we will enjoy lunch (optional). Enjoy specialty pastas and broiled dishes in a pleasant environment while relaxing beside a beautiful waterfall. After lunch take a refreshing dip to cool off in these pristine waters.
You’ll have direct contact with nature in this exploratory experience. Among the beautiful flora of Paraty you’ll see Jequitibá, one of the largest trees in the region, Brazillian Bamboo, Bromeliads, and much more!
Our next stop will be the Murycana Farm, also a cachaça distillery. Enjoy a glimpse into the the farm life through a short tour.
Our final stop will be the Bromeliad Exhibition where you will have contact with more than 300 species of beautiful plants available for enjoyment and picture taking. Upon leaving the exhibition, our tour will finsih by driving back to town.
