Treasures from the Deep Opal and Shell Museum

For 30 years, the Opal and Shell Museum has been collecting shells from around the world including shells from the sea, rivers, on land and even as fossils. 25 years of opal mining has permitted this attractive display of rare opal collections, specimens and fossils from the major fields of Central Australia.

The Opal and Shell Museum also sells unusual gifts, souvenirs, art pictures, shells, opals, crystals, minerals, specimens, fossils, jewellery and more.

They are located opposite the Coachhouse Marina Resort and right next to Catalina Country Club with ample parking space.
