It was such a great celebration last year that the Stratford Perth Museum is again re-creating the Perth Regiment home-coming dance.
The original dance took place January 17, 1946 in the third floor parade square at the Stratford Armoury. This time the event will be January 14, 2017 ? in the exact same place. We are even using a replica of the original ticket.
The event begins at 8 p.m. with the Festival City Big Band as the entertainment. Festival actor Cedric Smith will read passages from Perth Regiment diaries.
This event was a complete sell-out last year. Because of the size of the venue, capacity is limited to 165 so get your tickets early and avoid disappointment.
Tickets are just $40, including, tax and available at the Museum or online at stratfordperthmuseum.ca under "Buy tickets."
The Museum would also like to thank Orr Insurance, Urban Renos and the Department of National Defence for supporting this event. ...
