The Passeck Family and Staff of the BEST WESTERN Sea Breeze Resort, would like to make it clear that we condemn the action of Faroer Islanders, by conducting two Grinds

on the 23rd July 2015, in which 253 Pilot Whales were killed.

The killing of Whales Dolphins and Porpoises ( Cetaceans ) is completely against the core values of our Family, business and what we stand for!

We embrace non invasive use of the ocean and specifically the protection of all Cetaceans!

Cetaceans are as close as it gets to humans in the water. They communicate, they have a very similar family and social structure, they have feelings, like happy, sad, grieving, anger and empathy. Here at Ningaloo Reef in remote Western Australia, we promote Eco Tourism and invite guests to share our amazing natural treasures.

We have established a world leading Whale Sharking Industry, Turtle Monitor Program, Humpback Nursery and developping more and more Eco Tourism.

I believe that the Faroer Islands have great natural treasures too and are strongly reliant on International Tourism.

As long as the Grind ( insane killing of Whales ) continues, we will oppose it and invite everybody to visit Ningaloo to see Cetaceans, Whale Sharks, Giant Mantas and Sea Turtles in pristine Coral Reef in it;s amazing original beauty! Orcas, Humpbacks, Minky Whales, Spinner Dolphins, Bottle Nose and Australian Humpback Dolphins only to name a few.

We stand for sustainable Eco Tourism and the slaughter of Whales is neither supported not tolerated.
