Hi, just came back from Sajama.Think it’s important to note that the entrance fees to the park is now 100 bols, and not 30. We travelled from the Chilean end continuing our Salar journey through Sanpedro, Arica, Tambo Quemado, the first stop on the Bolivian side. Traveling from Chile, we had to withdraw Chilean pesos, but budgeted based on the entrance being 30 pp and not 100. Plus everything inside the park is double that of outside. Accommodation was about 60 Bols pp, but we clarified that on the phone. Breakfast, lunch etc is all additional and ideal budget is about 20/ 25 bols pp. The minivan service in the morning is now 30 bols. All in all take at least 40 percent more cash than budgeted, given no ATM’s, and the closest is only at Patacamaya. But highly recommend visiting, I liked it much more than Salar deuyuni.Very rare to have a place all to ourselves.
