From this scenic camping area, you can walk into the sunrise along Ninety Mile Beach, the sand barrier that stops the Gippsland Lakes from becoming part of Bass Strait. At Reeves you might spot dolphins or whales frolicking offshore, or you can throw in a fishing line and land something a bit smaller. Access is via Reeves Beach Rd.This small reserve’s reason for existence is the fine strip of sand that wanders along the coastline 13 km south-east of the town of Woodside, and which lies at the southern end of the fantastic Ninety Mile Beach. Swim and surf fish here to your heart’s content. From Woodside, follow Woodside Beach Rd, turn south on Balloong Rd and then head east on Reeves Beach Rd.
