In the exhibition area visitors will find a room dedicated to underwater sea life and the flora and fauna of the coast; the Shark and Ray Room; the Invertebrates room exhibiting invertebrate species of the Alboran Sea, and the Man and the Sea room displaying a fishing boat and navigation instruments. Visitors can even come face-to-face with around 500 different species in the Live Species Area. Meet turtles recovering from illness in the Turtle Patio, where they are being kept prior to their return to the sea, and find other sea species in the Aquarium Room, which have been collected by the museum and local fishermen. For those that don't like to get as up-close-and-personal with the creatures, there is a screening room which shows videos of different marine species in their natural habitat.
