The amazing Magpupungko Beach and Tidal Pool in Siargao About an hour away from General Luna you reach the Magpupungko Beach and Tidal pool in Pilar. The best time to go is during low tide. You can't swim there during high tide because the current is too strong. Ask the locals because I still don't know the times for high and low tides. hehe. Wear slippers since some of the rocks are sharp. But if you did not get a package you can rent a motorbike for a day about 500 ($10) pesos and go by yourself or ask a habal habal to take you there. It would cost around 800 pesos ($17). There is also an entrance fee of 50 pesos ($1.50).
