Lido Fontane Bianche

The beach at Fontane Bianche is a long stretch of fine sand surrounded by the luxuriant vegetation around Siracusa. It is a very popular tourist hotspot so hardly an inch of the beach is free of beach umbrellas and deck chairs. There are well looked after free access beaches too though such as the Camomila and Spiaggetta areas. Those who love cliffs will find a few highly unusual ones too. The bright white, highly stratified rocks of the area stretch out in reefs towards Siracusa forming sea beds which are the delight of snorkelling and diving fans.
