Take a scary stroll through Lawrenceville's historic downtown district while costumed guides share the history and supernatural lore of the town. The ghost stories include tales about the earliest settlers of Lawrenceville, Civil War soldiers who died in nearby battles, and even haunted objects, like the chandelier that sways slowly when tour groups pass in front of it. Tours begin inside the beautifully restored (and haunted) Aurora Theatre and include a visit inside the old jail, where the spirit of a former slave is said to reside. Many tourists claim to experience paranormal activity on the tour, especially inside the jail.
