Saskatchewan The Cypress Hill Park is Canada's first park to span across provincial borders. In this case the park measures over 20,250 hectares (50,000 acres) covering both, Saskatchewan and Alberta Provinces. The park also is the highest elevation found between the Rocky Mountains and Newfoundland-Labrador. From the community of Maple Creek, Saskatchewan travel 140 kilometres south on Highway #271 to the park entrance. Cypress Hills InterProvincial Park is located in the southwest corner of the Province of Saskatchewan, Canada closest to the communities of Maple creek, Eastend, Shaunavon and Gull Lake.
