We will pick you up at 9:00am from the main lobby of your hotel in Merida. Our first stop is Acanceh. Here we will visit the Mayan vestiges inside the town - the main structure is 11 meters high and decorated with Mayan masks carved in its stone walls.
After this, we will visit a gothic style church built in the XVIII century, a very atypical construction in Yucatan, where most of the churches are built in colonial style.
Our final destination will be the vestiges of an hacienda, an old sisal plantation. Here, we will get on a “truckâ€, a rail-mounted platform pulled by a horse that will take us to the 3 beautiful cenotes. Descending down the stairs into the denotes It’s a great adventure - we guarantee it is worth the effort! The cenotes have the clearest water you will ever see, and you will be amazed by the stalagmites and stalactites!
We return to Merida hotels at approximately 4:30pm.
