At the helm of Crush Tours is Andrew Brooks, accredited Sommelier, wine author, wine writer and vineyard and winery owner. Andrew and Christina Brooks created Crush on Niagara Wine Tours Inc. in the summer of 2002 after realizing their dream of quitting their jobs and buying a vineyard in Niagara. “We traveled extensively to South Africa, France, Italy, Greece and California where we furthered our passion for the love of wine.” Soon after the couple acquired the ten acre vineyard site on the Niagara Wine Route in Ontario and the concept for Crush on Niagara Wine Tours was conceived. The vineyard was planted and Crush on Niagara The Definitive Wine Tour Guide was written and published with Whitecap Books followed by Crush on Niagara The Definitive Wine Tour Guide 2 selling over 5000 copies.
