They are 2351 meters in altitude, vineyards and fields of UNESCO's World Heritage to better characterize the island of Pico. It is the second largest island of the Azores Archipelago, is located west of mainland Portugal and is inhabited by 14,806 people. With a total area of 447 m2, has an elliptical shape, with 42km long and 02.15 wide. Appears around a volcano, developing into secondary plateau with volcanic cones that end by the sea in tall cliffs while the lowest area in the west is gently sloping.
