The approximatly 650 war cemeteries, necropolises and memorials in the Nord Pas de Calais region are silent witnesses of the tragic events that happened during the First World War.
Among others sites, your driver guided will show you the Vimy Memorial Park (the most prestigious Canadian monument in Europe) with its trenches and tunnels and the Wellington Quarry, a chalk quarry where New Zealand soldiers dug kilometres of tunnels for the Battle of Arrais fought by the British Forces.
You will also have the opportunity to discover the city of Arras with some free time for lunch.
